Avispa didn't say a word as she observed, simply taking in their fight out of pure fascination. She'd heard about kismessitude, about how it worked and about how it was supposed to be. But when the sudden outcry of pain reached her ears? Something was wrong, not quite in line with the rest. Clutching at his arm, Phylus had fallen to his knees in front of the seadweller. She couldn't hear what he'd said, but he was still teasing, still daring. The problem was that Komesh was about to take it the whole way and end it, and with a flourish of his hand as a final comment, he thrust the spiked tips of his weapon right through where Phylus' neck... was.
Instead of piercing Phylus, Komesh stared in slight confusion at the skull that fell and bounced away. But before he could wonder, an all-too-familiar and extremely despised branch struck him from behind. Whirling around, their brawl began anew. The blood spilled, the claws scratched, and eventually, lips met eachother for what would be the first of many times.
