In Homestuck, characters -- troll characters in particular, but kids too -- seem to have a really dominant, defining theme that determines where their name, handle, and symbol are drawn from.

Did you think about that stuff when you designed your character? If so, HOW DID YOU CHOOSE IT, AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

bookmarked the hell outta that. the majority of the characters i've made in the past few forevers have always been to fill a particular role or whatever, so having a fun and random way to wing it is pretty much incredibly neat. :D
