She had a cute laugh.

Her teeth, horns, and pigtails were also cute. That was what anyone could see, so logic dictated that the rest of her had to be as well, right?

Not quite.

She might've been laughing, and she might've had a smile on her face, but the look in her rarely-visible eyes was anything but amused - the Witch stood, glasses clenched in one hand, eyes ablaze; she had fallen into a Rage before, long before she'd Ascended, but now there was something markedly different about the fury this time. She had one thing now that she'd lacked before: control. Ascending had given her a handle on this other side she'd kept locked deep within, and unlike before, triggering it was now as easy as flicking a light switch.

The Knight stood beside her, bright orange hair clashing with the deep purple of his cape. His own glasses had been removed; his own eyes were on fire, and a grim smrik crossed his face as he gripped his backsword.

"Ready?" he growled, voice distorted by his own Rage.

Her only response was to lift her clawed sleeves and let loose with more cacophonic giggles. That was enough of an answer for him, and they set forth - no Ogre stood a chance, and even the fearsome Giclopses would succumb to the Rage.

There was no more fooling around, no matter how much the Witch laughed.
