What did he mean "no more stealth teaching"? The sudden change, the reversal of his plans confused Avispa. She knew the teaching was sneaky, a surprise, to show up at random when she least expected it; but she was learning, wasn't she? What had she done to make him want to end it? He'd vanished the moment that he mentioned it and she couldn't get even a single response from pestering him. She'd have to seek out the answers herself if she wanted anything.

Promptly, Eighis pulled the power from his husktop, disappointed that he found no relief whatsoever in witnessing the screen go dark. After what had happened, after all the failures he'd seen, he didn't want this to be yet another on the list. He could see where things were going, he could understand how bonds could grow from friendship and recovery. With how off-plan things had gone, he had been reduced to coming up with a new plan. Of all his plans, his backup plans, his backup backup plans hadn't worked at all; not even one. The only choice was to cut things off.

With the situation weighing heavily on her mind, Avispa promptly prepared herself for the journey. Gates, sessions, enemies, skaia, all of it was so very complicated but she'd long since mapped out the shortest routes through it all to visit anyone. It was a giant puzzle with predetermined links placed throughout its maze of locations and planets; the game had, thankfully, made it all easier. She'd visited Eighis' world once before, before things had gone so badly for him, and now she wondered just who was left who would treat him like a certain other used to. Things were different, very different.

He couldn't turn it back on, he couldn't talk to her again. He'd had things go wrong, he knew, he knew what happened when he failed people. The best way to avoid hurting others, especially the ones that didn't deserve to be hurt, was to shut them out. He knew no other way, but he knew that he couldn't hurt others if he wasn't involved. Simple. He had his books, he had his specialities; he could simply-- With a quick turn, he turned in the direction of a sudden sound, a sound he'd never heard before. There was no imp, no beast that made a loud "Whoosh, clunk" sound. More importantly, he couldn't even fathom what would make a "Whoosh, clunk" sound. He didn't have to wonder long, however, because the source revealed itself.

With the closest emotion to anger that she could muster, Avispa forced her way into Eighis' hive. Her face showed any emotion but anger, however; sadness, grief, confusion, concern and more were all there. He'd puzzled her before, but it was nothing like this. There had always been something that made her smile about the way he taught things, the way he approached things, the way he handled things. But this? This didn't make her smile, this wasn't something she could accept or learn from. This wasn't Eighis at all. The things that had happened had changed him, had left him alone, and she could see it; he was one of the few that she could see, could understand.

She couldn't have come here; she shouldn't have come here. Eighis' eyes were wide with surprise and disbelief at her very presence in his hive, of all places. It was not long ago that he had thought her gone from him, cut from his life, never to be seen again. Yet now, she stood before him giving him a look that he could not comprehend; one that didn't make any sense at all for her to be making. She should've been angry, she should've been hurting him, she should've turned to hate him like so many others had done; why was she different? He'd tried, before, to teach her that this was not the way, not the correct approach; his stealth teaching had, obviously, not stuck.

"I didn't want to--"

"It's not over, no!"

"The stealth teaching, Avispa I can't--"

Shaking her head hard, she stepped forward. Avispa wasn't one for conforming with the norm or going with the flow. She had her own understanding, her own approach to things. This wasn't how it went, to her. This wasn't the solution, the one he was implying, this didn't end with him being alone again. He had lost so much, the puzzle equation was in the negative. The solution, obviously, was positive. It had to be positive, that was the only fit. Stepping forward again, she pressed her lips to his just as the green tears began streaming down her cheeks. It was brief, just enough to propose the solution to it all. Separating slightly, she spoke softly.

"You don't have to... be alone, I think... I'll do stealth teaching... for you, now, yes."
