State of the Game! Where is your character at this point in time, and what is their next course of action?

And man if Lyn's going to jump through gates and meet other trolls, he'd probably be super welcome on Avispa's world and she'd be fascinated by his existence and oh my god the LOOT. Also if he wanted to lecture about terrible consequences so she avoids making them, that could totally be a thing. She'd be a captivated, captive audience.
... 8D And just gonna say that Lyn's psionics, no matter what they are, will fascinate Avispa because oh my god he can do magical things.

Pffft, I'd love to have Lyn meet some of the newer trolls to the alpha session, because a lot of you guys are still strangers to me, let alone to him! JUST DON'T GET TOO CLOSE AVISPA YOU'RE A GIRL YOU PROBABLY HAVE COOTIES. By which I mean Lyn has no idea how to shot girls.
HIS PSIONICS ARE VISUALLY AWESOME, PRACTICALLY...not that great. |D He can refract light to make himself essentially invisible for short periods! Great for hiding from stuff and...basically nothing else. It has limited application in their session, though it did help him survive on Alternia.

And eeeee very yes; of course there can always be plenty of elaboration and explanation as to just who these new mystery trolls are, or there can be meeting and interacting, or both. Buahaha. ALL THE THINGS and ALL THE LEARNING. Did... did you need an Avispa crash course, for now? But uh, as for her, SORRY she's kind of dumb at people and so she'll be just as awkward and HOW DO around Lyn as he will be around her. (Also by the way she totally has cooties, puzzle cooties. W h o o p s I won't tell Lyn if you don't)
And oh man, the fact that they're visually fantastic is all that matters. She'll totally be gawking and going "WOOOAAAHHHH" and such at them. Because that's awesome! And that's totally a solution for something, somewhere, for some puzzle. Maybe even one of the puzzles somewhere on her planet. Like a vault with a laser system; he could refract the light away to become invisible but also whoops just look at those lasers not affecting him either. And then: PILES OF LOOT. 8D Plus a very excited jadeblood bouncing up and down excitedly that they found a solution. /rambling

WELL HONESTLY Lyn did very limited socializing with the other trolls in his session as it is, so the fact that Avispa isn't one of the trolls he was originally slated to play with isn't even a thing he'd realize. He'd just assumed she was someone he hadn't talked to! |D Also re: Avispa crash course, I'd love one! Did you need one on Lyn in return? (Also Lyn prefers puzzle cooties to girl cooties. SLIGHTLY.)
...oh my god that laser idea would be hilarious because Lyn would go AW HELL NO at even going near them, so he'd need to be practically shoved into them or fall in their path to even find this incredibly specific superpower of his out~

And ohho, poor Lyn. WAY TO BE A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY, BOY. So pffft he will learn, I suppose. He will learn ALL THE THINGS. A Lyn crash course could be pretty rad, but here's your super simple Avispa crash course for now:
• Fours! All fours. Things come in fours. Seriously, all the fours.
• Skulls are seriously the best thing! Well, maybe tied for best thing.
• Puzzles. Everything is puzzles even when it isn't. She loves puzzles and has a million of them.
• She's dumb at people and social things but really, really good at analytical and logical thinking... Especially puzzles.
...I told you things came in fours. That's pretty much everything you need to know about her, personality wise, but there's so much more planned for her future that it's crazy. She's crazy. And it's all a giant puzzle just waiting to be solved. Speaking of, she's going to be very curious about Lyn's horns. Why aren't they symmetrical? Did he bend one? She's going to touch it to see.
And ahahaha it'd take some silly shenanigans to get Avispa to shove him into them, but that IS a thing that could potentially happen... except it'd be more like the two get attacked from behind and, in her surprise to pop the thing into grist she accidentally just... bumps Lyn towards the lasers. HER BAD, BRO, DON'T DIE.

• Lyn's full name is Lyndis! But he really hates that name so he always goes by Lyn; I don't think anyone in any of the sessions knows his full name, although I could be forgetting something.
• Lyn is a runt troll! He's like...about 4'10" at almost 9 sweeps, which is pretty fucking embarrassing. Being small and weak, his lusus took him out to live in the middle of nowhere, ten miles from the nearest troll city!
• Lyn's weasel lusus was killed by a scalebeast when Lyn was about two sweeps old, before Lyn's hive was even completed! So Lyn's been hiding from the drones (since they cull orphaned trolls) in a cave near his half-built hive ever since, and subsists almost entirely on stealing shit from other trolls in the nearest troll city. (Which means, yeah, he regularly makes the twenty-mile trek there and back. On foot. HIS LIFE IS HARD.)
• All of Lyn's education and social skills come from the internet! Primarily gaming forums. THIS SHOULD GIVE YOU A REALLY GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF HIS PERSONALITY AND WHY IT IS THE WAY IT IS.
• Lyn's had limited exposure to girls, so he's even more socially awkward around them than he is around guys! And he's pretty horribly socially awkward in general, so that's saying a lot.
• Lyn has HUGE self-worth issues, but conceals these by being a tremendous tough-talking jackass! He's like a kitten who's puffed itself up to look bigger, and he stays puffed basically ALL THE TIME. But he's not genuinely as much as a jackass as he generally acts, and he feels guilty when he genuinely upsets people. (He's okay with making people angry and disgusted, but making them sad weirds him out. Ask Nikkal.)
• Due to never having shit of his own and always having to steal things to get by, he's become something of a learned kleptomaniac. He will acquire your shit if you leave it unattended. Quite possibly without even being consciously aware he's taken it.
• Underneath his trash talk, Lyn is a big coward and kind of a pacifist! He doesn't like fighting if he can avoid it, and he'd never kill another troll without his hand being seriously forced. This puts him at a HUGE disadvantage in Alternian society, and he knows it! ALL THE MORE DEFENSIVE BEHAVIOR TO DISGUISE THIS FACT.
• Growing up alone and well-hidden, Lyn never developed the self-preservation to show deference to highbloods! So he's very vocal about the lowblood chip on his shoulder he has with them and their highblood privilege in ways that most lowbloods would consider suicidal!
• He thinks quadrants are stupid, in much the way four-year-olds think romance is stupid. He's pretty much that emotionally immature about things in general. He doesn't trust anyone much, and figures no one will ever like him, so he's pretty sure quadrants are a thing he will never ever have to worry about anyway!

But for now I am staring with starry-eyes at this Lyn crash course and just chinhandsing at him. And realizing that several of Avispa's puzzles might someday go missing because of him. Mr. Sticky fingers.
sdjhgsd as for the rest I am just asjkfh because he's such a fascinating little fellow. ... emphasis on little because Avispa is actually four inches taller than him. (Don't let her ever find that out or she'll be even more fascinated by him)
